Campfire in the backyard!!

Patch couldn't wait to start a fire in the woods.
It was fun. We just sat and talked and Patrick played with the fire.
Bill was in his shirt sleeves, I wore a big thick winter coat. It was 40 degrees
and Bill acted like it was June.

Patchy is here!!!!

Patrick William Berger is in the house!!!
He arrived at 6:32 AM in Raleigh Durham International airport.
He was picked up by his loving Mother, Elizabeth Donnelly Berger.

He was obnoxious and was showing off his Ducks sweatshirt, when he knows
darn well, that the Carolina Hurricanes rule!!

All is well in the house of the Bergers.

Caitlyn was baptized on 12/1/07!!

Yup she is baptized. It was a great evening. She was also called and accepted into Watts school of Nursing!! She starts in January!!! Yeah (except here comes the bills, ugh). We are very happy for her, it was a hard school to get into. She will do all her clinicals at Duke University Hospital. If she signs a contract saying that she will work for three years at Duke Hospital, she will get a full ride to school. That is about $50K of schooling that we won't have to pay.

Bills is a working man now!!

Yup he is official now. Wake County Public School system. He seems very happy, and loves to talk about his new job. I guess now that we are all working, we are officially living here now.

My new job at C3 church!!

Cleveland Community Church
This is the new Church being built. It will seat 2,500 people in the sanctuary. It has a cafe, and large book store, that will be opened all week. The cross in front, if you look close, is 98 ft. tall. We are still in the old church but on December 23rd we have our first service in the new church. It is kind of weird because the church is so large, but it still feels like you know everyone. It is almost a family feeling. Great church.

Just the two of us now!!

Bill and I decorated the tree this year, I thought it would be sad without the kids, but it just was different. It is a new season of our life, and I want to embrace it. Please notice our beautiful eggnog mugs that Mary bought us many years ago.

Piggly Wiggly!!!

Can you believe it?? Yup, a Piggly Wiggly is still up and running in Sanford, NC. Bill and I were out driving around, and I saw that, wow!!
